Day one of the first round of the two day competition got off to a damp start for the majority of games, only five balls were possible in the Stratford versus NPMU game with Stratford to resume day two on 4 without loss.

There was no play possible in the NPOB v NPBHS game and Woodleigh v FDMC.

Down South however nearly a full days play was had with Hawera hosting Inglewood, Hawera batted first and was dismissed for 164 with young Jack Fowler top scoring with 53, left arm spinner Luke Dravitzki was the pick of the Inglewood bowlers picking up a 5 wicket bag.
In reply Inglewood faced 22 overs before weather intervened finishing on 54 for 1 with Bailey Wisnewski doing a great job on 29 not out.
